Squirrel Class 2019

Welcome to Squirrel Class

Information for Parents and Carers

We are really enjoying getting to know your children and they are settling in quickly as well as  learning the new class routines.

PE: This term we will have P.E. on a Tuesday morning, starting with listening and moving skills and then large apparatus after half term.

Forest School: Squirrel Class will have Forest School every Thursday afternoon so please make sure the children have all their old, warm clothes in each week.

Please encourage your child to be independent as possible when changing and check all their clothes are named too. Thank you.

Reading: Book bags containing reading books will be sent home each day, and changed weekly. Please support your child as much as possible with their reading at home. We will also be reading at school so remember to send their books and reading records in each day.

Water bottles: Please make sure your child only has water in their bottle, no squash or juice. If your child is reluctant to drink water, it can be flavoured using fresh fruit. You are welcome to send them in with a juice or squash for lunch time if you wish.

Please feel free to ask us if you have any questions or concerns.
