Behaviour at Lancastrian

At Lancastrian we have very high expectations of children's behaviour. We plan exciting, motivating lessons to engage and inspire the children and ensure that all levels of children's needs and abilities are catered for. It is important to us that the children behave as learners throughout their time at Lancastrian and we work hard to develop those skills from when they start in Early Years.
It is very important to us to recognise and celebrate positive behaviour and we have a clear system of rewards for that. These include; verbal praise, stickers, seeing the Headteacher, certificates in our celebration assembly and even an invitation to the Headteacher's tea party once a month.
Occasionally, we have to deal with incidents of poor behaviour and we have a clear procedure for this (see the Behaviour incident document).
