Owls

Welcome to Owl Class

Useful Information for Parents and Carers

PE: Tuesday and Friday this term. Please ensure P.E kit is in school and named.

Reading: Book bags containing reading books will be sent home each day, and changed once a week. Please support your child as much as possible with their reading at home. We will also be reading at school so remember to send their books and yellow reading records back in each day.

Spellings: Each Monday, we will send home some spellings to read and write at home-we will then be making sure we use these in our reading and writing back in school!

Please feel free to ask us if you have any questions or concerns.

World book day-Thursday 1st March 2018

Thank you for the children's amazing costumes and to everyone who, despite the weather, attended our book carnival at the end of the day.
Summer 2018
We arrived back after lunch to find our classroom covered in tyre tracks...then we had a message to say this had happened in other parts of the school too! We quickly investigated and found out a Naughty Bus had caused the trouble!
I wonder what he'll be up to next...
The Naughty bus set us a challenge to find out the most popular type of vehicle in Chichester. Here we are doing a traffic survey near the Cathedral to find out. We completed tally charts before coming back to school and putting this data onto a pictogram and interpreting what we had found out.
Our trip to the RNLI-thank you to everyone who came with us! We couldn't do trips without you!
Year 1 Maths take home challenge
We have been learning about collecting data in school. Can the children create a tally chart of the favourite colour of their family/friends, and then use this to create a pictogram to show the results?
We'd love to see this in school!
