Hedgehog Class
World book day-Thursday 1st March 2018
In Hedgehog class, we will be focussing on the text 'Charlie Cook's Favourite Book' by Julia Donaldson. This is a book about Charlie and how his favourite books leads into other characters with range of characters. Please can the children in Hedgehogs come dressed as these characters...for example the Goldilocks, the 3 Bears, pirate, king, queen,  a knight, dragon or even an astronaut!  There is a copy in the classroom if you need inspiration.
On the day itself, please come and join us for our book carnival in the playground at 2.45pm. (In the hall if raining)
Thank you. Any questions, please do ask.

Take home challenges...
In maths, we are learning about left and right. Can you play Simon says at home and include instructions using left and right? We've really enjoyed dancing to the Cha-Cha slide to help us with this too!
Please don't forget daily reading and the spellings in reading records to practise.
Finally, we have been researching sea creatures in class-thank you to everyone who has taken time to look at our amazing sea creature display! Can your child find out some more sea creature facts about a different creature that interests them? We would love to see this in school!
Thank you for all your support.
