Welcome to Badger Class

Useful Information for Parents and Carers

World book day-Thursday 1st March 2018
In Badger class, we will be focussing on the text 'The Jolly Postman or Other People's Letters' by Janet and Allan Ahlberg. This is a collection of letters delivered by the Jolly Postman to a variety of traditional fairy tale characters. Please can the children in Badgers come dressed as one of these traditional characters...for example the Gingerbread man, Little Red Riding Hood, the Big Bad Wolf, Cinderella, Goldilocks, the 3 Bears, Jack or the giant from Jack and the Beanstalk.
On the day itself, please come and join us for our book carnival in the playground at 2.45pm. (In the hall if it is raining)
Thank you. Any questions, please do ask.

PE: Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Please ensure P.E kit is in school and named .

Forest Schools: Tuesday afternoons - can children please bring a warm set of clothes (they don't mind getting dirty), welly boots, a hat and gloves into school.

Reading: Book bags containing reading books will be sent home each day. Please support your child as much as possible with their reading at home. We will also be reading at school so remember to send their books back in each day.
